The cottage itself has been extensively refurbished and boasts a high-specification kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a quality porcelain-tiled bathroom, and a high standard of decoration throughout. Furniture is solid oak and leather, complemented by oak doors throughout and oak paneling in the bedroom – all deliberately chosen to give an atmosphere of solidity and traditional comfort, rather than merely temporary fashionability.
Downstairs a small dining table adjoins the kitchen, with a larger desk / table also provided, complete with leather swivel chair, desk light and CD / stereo unit – perfect for working on a laptop for instance (broadband Wi-Fi available), or playing board games with the children.
Upstairs both bedrooms have been recently re-decorated to a high standard; both rooms feature walk-in wardrobes, with a TV also provided in the main bedroom (and, again, a fine view of the river from the window).

And remember – for this cottage electricity is included in the holiday price, not an extra cost!
